Please note the general tone of our site when deciding whether we are good place for you to submit your work. We generally steer clear of puns, riddles, top ten lists, Photoshopped anything, excessive profanity or obscenity, cute observations about children, or extended complaints about how women are not good drivers. This is not to say that such items are never funny, but there are other places on the Internet where they are a better fit. We are not quite as highbrow as McSweeney's, but we do have our little quirks.

If we like your piece but feel it doesn't quite work for us as submitted, we may suggest edits or revision. Again, this says less about the quality of your work than it does about our efforts to maintain a coherent voice for our site.
